What was once a standard builder-grade basement was transformed into a sophisticated lower-level retreat designed for both everyday living and effortless entertaining. The homeowners envisioned a multifunctional space where their busy family could gather, guests could enjoy a private stay, and indoor-outdoor living could flow seamlessly to the pool just beyond the walkout doors.
To maximize both function and flexibility, we incorporated a custom kitchenette for entertaining and poolside hosting, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a murphy bed that provides comfortable guest accommodations without sacrificing valuable floor space. A show-stopping 16-foot bi-fold door blurs the line between indoors and out, creating a seamless connection to the outdoor living area.
The result is a bright, welcoming extension of the home that feels anything but a basement—offering comfort, functionality, and elevated design throughout.
