Beautiful Spaces for Everyday Living

Our Approach

We create homes that feel personal, welcoming, functional, and deeply lived in. Rather than following trends or creating one-size-fits-all spaces, we begin by understanding you: how you gather, recharge, work, celebrate, and move through your home each day.

From there, we thoughtfully design and organize spaces that reflect your lifestyle, aesthetic, routines, and the feeling you want to experience when you walk through the door. Whether we’re transforming a room, simplifying systems, styling existing pieces, or managing a larger home project, our goal is always the same: to create spaces that feel elevated, intentional, and easier to live in.

About Us

Sand Lake Merchant Styling & Design was founded by longtime friends Amanda Goyer and Paige Rueckert, who combined their shared passion for intentional living, meaningful design, and organization to create a business centered around people first. After meeting through their corporate careers, Amanda and Paige quickly bonded over their love for transforming spaces and helping others create homes that feel both functional and deeply personal. As busy professionals with families themselves, they understand firsthand how important it is to have a space that not only functions well, but also feels its absolute best, supporting everyday life while creating comfort, calm, and joy. Their collaborative approach blends thoughtful design, organization, empathy, and energy to create spaces that truly work for the people living in them.

Amanda, owner of Sand Lake Merchant and Lake Bound Bookstore, lives in West Sand Lake with her husband Chris, their two boys, two puppies, and a turtle. Paige resides in Colonie with her partner Nick and their handsome Golden Retriever, Leo. Long before launching their business together, both Amanda and Paige were redesigning bedrooms, styling spaces, and organizing homes from a young age, naturally drawn to creating environments that bring comfort, peace, and joy. Today, their enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care for others shine through in every project they take on, making Sand Lake Merchant Styling & Design a true reflection of who they are and what they love most.
